The NJ Team Nutrition project is dedicated to improving child nutrition in our state. The project has three parts -

1st is a statewide program to improve the quality of meals served in our schools. A team of trainers will conduct education programs in all 21 counties of the state for food service workers. Called "Quick Steps to Success" the program will help food service workers serv
food that is safer, more nutritious, tastier and more appealing to kids.

2nd is our "Fuel up with Five" program in targeted schools throughout the state. Children learn the basics of good nutrition and are encouraged to eat the five food components of the school meal program. A fun filled, race car theme makes this an exciting way to learn about food and health.

3rd is our statewide "Changing the Scene" program to get parents, teachers, school nurses, administrators and students involved in creating a healthy school meals environment at their school.

Learn about each of these programs and how you can participate by clicking on the appropriate button on the left.
